Sistem visible light communication (VLC) menggunakan teknik asynchronous pulse position modulation (APPM) untuk komunikasi nirkabel

Visible Light Communication (VLC), yang berkomunikasi melalui cahaya tampak, merupakan teknologi potensial di era Industri 5.0. Penggunaan VLC berkecepatan tinggi dapat diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan light-emitting diode (LED). Metode modulasi yang sesuai sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas sistem VLC. Asynchronous Pulse Position Modulation (APPM) diusulkan dalam paper ini. Metode ini merupakan pengembangan dari teknik modulasi Pulse Position Modulation (PPM). Pengujian dilakukan dalam 2 kondisi yaitu kondisi gelap (Lux = 0) dan kondisi terang dengan cahaya dari luar ruangan (Luv = 304). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa didapatkan Vp dan frekuensi output lebih baik dalam kondisi gelap dan semakin jauh jarak transmisi, maka hasil yang didapatkan lebih rendah.
